LINER NOTES
For several years, in living rooms and small theaters, I have been the curator and performing host of the salon, ThemeScene, in stimulating collaboration with my chamber band ~ Rich Eames, Rob Lockart, Scott Breadman and Paul Cartwright ~ We explore a chosen theme through poetry, spoken word, wide-ranging music and song, and free sonic elements.
(i.e. Tr 1 & 2 evolved from CARDIOLOGY salon; Tr 3 from Out of This World and Tr 6 & 8 from ENOUGH salon.)

Chamber music has been described as “the music of friends”. The band’s instrumentation and our salon’s intimate, acoustic and collaborative elements, combine to create a special synergy - one which we wanted to explore in making a recording together. So, we met up a couple of times with ideas and an openness, and soon after, we spent a day in the studio. It was a mighty fine day of adventure in musical fun for us. Susan Krebs Chamber Band is pleased to share it with you!
